Climate change and Environmental Protection Programme

Adolescents girls and young women in rural Tanzania being also among the groups affected more by climate change and environmental destruction, our organization has embarked on implementing activities related to this matter in order to help them take lead in fighting climate change and environmental destruction for their integral well-being and making the world a better place for all to live and thrive.

Under this programme area, SHEEO NGO implement the following activities:

1. We raise community awareness on climate change effects and environment conservation practices to help it better prepare for, respond to, and recover from climate-related disasters and environmental destruction.
2. We empower rural vulnerable adolescents girls and young women and communities to undertake climate - smart agriculture, zero grazing system in livestock keeping, tree planting and use of energy saving stoves for climate change resilience and adaptation.
3. We mobilize vulnerable rural adolescents girls and young women and communities in rural Tanzania to play a vital role in climate change mitigation practices and community - based environmental protection interventions.
