 SHEEO NGO STRUCTURE AND GOVERNANCE EXPLAINED:

At this page you will know how SHEEO NGO is lead and administered including the decision making processes within the organization.

A. Overview of SHEEO NGO Governance:

SHEEO NGO has a unique leadership and governance structure whereby all its organs put at the centre of its decisions, the involvement of the impoverished rural adolescents girls and young women the  organization is helping.
SHEEO NGO relies on and considers their ideas and suggestions in first hand in designing and implementing its programs, projects and activities.
At SHEEO NGO, the decisions are taken democratically in meetings by voting and only two-third of votes makes a decision valid for implementation. During votes of passing a decision in regards with beneficiaries, the meeting participants should consider the motion/idea/suggestion brought in front of them to vote for has deeply takes into consideration the opinions/suggestions of the targeted beneficiaries in the community we help.

B. Administration and Management Organs:

SHEEO NGO is led and governed by three distinct organs to uphold transparency, accountability and integrity in running the organisation affairs.

The following are SHEEO NGO organs and brief description of their responsibilities:

1. General Meeting (GM):

  This is the supreme organ composed of all members of our organisation. This organ has power to approve whatever has to be done in the organisation and give directives to the Board of Directors directly and the Coordination and Operations Directorate through the Board. the members meet once per year at Annual General Meeting or anytime when an urgent issue with the organization arise.

2. Board of Directors (BoD):

  This organ is composed with a blend of members coming from SHEEO NGO and the community under our legal geographically coverage. The Board of Directors is appointed by the General Meeting to overseer general organisation operations including administrative and financial performances, set strategic direction, provide guidance and hold the Coordination and Operations Directorate organ accountable to help the organisation fulfill its vision, mission and objectives. The Board of Directors receives and implements directives from the General Assembly to advance the organisation purpose. The Board of Directors meet twice in a year or any time when the need arise.


 3. Coordination and Operations Directorate (COD):


  This is the organ in charge of implementing the programs, projects and activities of SHEEO NGO to its beneficiaries and communities in its legal geographic coverage in Tanzania. It is led by the Executive Director giving guidance, oversight and support to all the members of this organ to insure they meet timely the objectives set in every program, project or activity undertaken by this organisation.
This organ is composed with employed staff and volunteers working to make sure the needs of the beneficiaries of the organisation programs, projects and activities are met with integrity, dignity and respect.
This organ receive and implement directives from the General Assembly and the Board of Directors in order to make sure it is working in accordance with the set forth guidelines and imply innovation in reaching out to the beneficiaries.
The Coordination and Operations Directorate meets four times in a year meaning one time per quarter or any time when the need arise.
