Quality Education, Technology and Innovation Promotion for Girls Programme

We strongly believe that when adolescents girls and young women living in extreme poverty are empowered and equipped they are capable to improve themselves their lives, contribute to the development of their families and communities.
It is very important for all development actors to come together and abolish any barrier towards the access to education for girls and giving them support to realize their dreams through education and embrace the technological era.
At our level as SHEEO NGO, we implement the following activities under this programme area:
1. We support poor, rural adolescents’ girls to access education, mentor them with life skills and implement WASH programs to improve their learning environment and help them successfully complete their education so that they may make changes in their lives and communities;
2. We equip poor, rural adolescents’ girls and young women with ICT, Coding and use of digital technologies skills in order to bridge the gender digital divide and support them to succeed through technologies and innovation in this digital era;
3. We initiate, build and run modern primary and secondary schools with boarding facilities following Tanzania curriculum with extra-curricular activities promoting gender-equality, SRHR, environmental protection, WASH and STEM initiatives in rural Tanzania for bright impoverished girls to prepare them to be leaders of tomorrow and change agents both for their lives and communities.
