“From a very poor family and
being a victim of children’s rights and witness of women’s right violations in
my community, I decided to mobilize my fellow community members to start this
organisation to change the narrative of the lives of the marginalized, rural
adolescents’ girls and young women. We are the true sacrifice for the
well-being of impoverished members of our nation and the world. Let us be kind
towards one another and build our strength using the little we have to make the
change we want to see in our Nation and the world.
SHEEO NGO remains the right
vessel to make the difference and break the silence on the sufferings of adolescents
girls and young women as we witness daily under our traditions and culture
favoring patriarchal systems and undermining women and girls.
SHEEO NGO is initiated
to bring young people (boys and girls) together and raise their awareness in
order to change their mindset from being witness and or actors to comforters
and change makers regardless of our sexual orientation, socio-economic,
cultural, religious and ethnical, educational and political backgrounds. ”
Quote from William when he was
asked what inspired him to start
SHEEO NGO during the introduction of
SHEEO NGO
at Magu district council in September, 2020.
