SUZAN A. WEZZA is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SHEEO NGO.

She is a medical practitioner working as a Laboratory Technician for over ten years now in Public Service in Tanzania.

She is the Founder and President of Relief and Advocacy for the Well-being of Elderly – RAWE, a non-governmental organisation she initiated and which is very successful in serving vulnerable old people in Mwanza region, Tanzania.

Her successes in philanthropy persuaded the Annual General Meeting of SHEEO NGO of 2023 held in February, 2024 to propose, appoint and approve her to serve at the position of Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

“We may not have big names to be trusted but we should trust our names ourselves to make the changes we want to see.
Leave those going after names and, focus with those making impacts in our local context as locally-led organizations.
Let us work hard in unity, trust, dignity respect, transparency and accountability so that tomorrow we may leave a mark in the lives of the people we help. When they be able to stand and do their things at their own pace then we will say we made a difference.”
